This Council Decision is about the position to be adopted on behalf of the European Union within the Administrative Council of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID)
On March 21st, after four years of work, the Member States of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) have approved a comprehensive set of amendments to ICSID’s rules for resolving disputes between foreign investors and their host States. The rules have been updated to reduce time and cost of cases and will come into effect on July 1st.
